Why Lug Width Matters

Lug width is the distance between the lugs where the strap or bracelet attaches. It determines which straps fit your watch: a 20mm watch needs a 20mm strap. 20mm and 22mm are the most common sizes, so watches with those lug widths have the widest choice of aftermarket straps.
